Pick up from your hotel between 6:30 to 7:00 am. And departure towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where we can appreciate beautiful and picturesque natural and cultural attractions… We will arrive at approximately 10:00 am to the Malaga pass which is at an altitude of 4316 m.a.s.l., starting point with the bikes, descending towards the high jungle, passing through small villages, fruit fields, rivers and streams. We will arrive at our campsite around 5:00 pm. During the descent through the valley towards Santa Maria, we will have the support of our private vehicle which will give the security to keep our group together… as an extra activity we will have the option of river rafting, our first night we will spend in a family house.
We wake up around 6:30 a.m. to enjoy our traditional breakfast, before starting our hike we will have the option to walk around our family home which is located in the heart of the native forest, surrounded by coffee plantations, coca, and variety of fruits of the jungle, then ascend about 1 hour and a half to reach the traditional Inca trail. During the tour we will be able to witness the local flora and fauna, continuing we will arrive to the thermal baths of Santa Teresa which is medicinal and therapeutic, after a relaxing bath we will continue with our walk 40 minutes more to the town of Santa Teresa where we will spend our second night, accommodation in a basic service hostel.
Each day will be a discovery, accompanied by our professional guide of AITA PERU who will give you unique and personalized attention throughout our tour, this day we will have splendid view of many waterfalls from the glaciers…. In the afternoon we will arrive to Machupicchu village, which is popularly known as “Aguas Calientes”, there is where we will spend our last night at the foot of the great Machupicchu (Inca citadel), accommodation in a basic hostel… This day you will have the option to do canopy which is an additional service.
Being 4:30 a.m. we will get ready to go to the Inka citadel of Machupicchu, a way up through the jungle, walk that will be for about an hour and a half, thus having the opportunity to see the sunrise, after checking in at the park control 6:00 a.m. we will appreciate the sunrise if luck accompanies us, then continue the visit inside the Inka citadel accompanied by our professional guide who will share their knowledge for about two hours and then you will have free time to visit and hike inside the citadel of Machupicchu, based on the schedule of the return train…Departure of the tourist train achupicchu town – achupicchuo and pick up at the park control 6:00 am.
