The zipline is located 35 km (or 22 miles) outside of Cusco, an estimated 40-minute drive, in the village of Racchi. This village is located in the Sacred Valley region and in the middle of a natural paradise known as the Plateau de Chinchero, near the P’acchayoc Canyon and in the shadow of the snow-capped peaks of Chicon and Pitusiray.
The zip line in Cusco consists of 4 different cables that extend over a distance of 600 meters (or approximately 2,000 feet), the highest of them being 200 meters (or 700 feet) above the ground.
The first cable is smooth, allowing participants to begin the journey with confidence and the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the activity.
The second cable travels at a slightly higher speed, allowing participants to imagine the sensation of flying through the air.
The third cable is the longest, giving participants the ability to travel in a variety of extreme positions if they wish, such as upside down, monkey style, or any position they can invent.
